Limited or no connectivity.

Hi. I'm a tech at a large chain, with plently of experience. In the last 2 weeks or so i've had a series of computers come in with this happening. Some worked in Safe mode, some did not. I've gone through all the normal steps... checked drivers, services, TCP/IP. Done Ccleaner, hijack this, etc. They are malware free. I'm at a loss. Some of the other techs for the company think it has something to do with a windows update a couple weeks ago. What i'm wondering is if anyone else is seeing this, and is there a resolution? I chose not to post specifics because it's involving a dozen or so computers over that last 2 weeks. Thanks in advance.

When viewed user account in control panel, I carelessly changed my Administrator account in to limited account. I am using window xp sp2. can I recover my Administrator account from limited(user) account, without re-installing operating system. Because of this problem even I cannot do the window cleaning as advised by you, as I cannot install super Anti-virus etc.

 

Well, I believe you have me confused with someone else. First off, you wouldn't be able to change the only account over to limited. More than likely if you boot in safe mode there is a hidden admin account. Second, I would never have said to put super antivirus on there, since it's usually a virus itself.
