LinkGrabber99 and MS Media Player ID

I wanted to download ZoneAlarm firewall, and scanned my computer first.
It found LinkGrabber99 and MS Media Player ID, how do I get rid of them??
I have Spybot, Ad-aware and all others and they don't detect these.
Can someone tell me if they are bad news and how I get rid of them?

After doing ALL of the above if you still have a problem:

• Download HijackThis 1.99.1

• Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

• Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file.

• Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

• Run HijackThis and save your log file.

• Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next post. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).

Your log isnt that bad, what problems are you currently having?

 

I've done the fixing part, but on the zonealarm site they still show up.

HKUS\DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Settings\Client ID

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Settings\ClientID

HKEY_USERS\Default\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\internet settings\zonemap\domains\mywebsearch.net

This entry lets me know that your not updated. So go to Windows Updates and get your updates.

Also, what version of Media Player are you running? What is the EXACT problem your having?

 

On the windows update site it indicates that there are no essential updates available, just some other ones like Microsoft.NET Framework, Euroconversion, an update for computers with IDE and many language additions....
I have a thing installed that automatically warns me if any critical updates are available...

I don't ever use windows media player, I have version 6.4.07.1121.
I'm not having a particular problem with media player, since i never use it. It's just that an online scan came up with those two malware, and I'd like to clean up my computer completely...

 

First, Download Windows Media Player 9

After doing this, post me with THE EXACT registry keys found.
