    Hi all,

I have been racking my brain for days trying to solve this problem, so I thought I'd post it here in hope that someone could shed some light on the situation...

We are currently trying to link two Procurve E3800 switches together via 10Gb Fibre... Physically everything is working (activity lights all round), however the two sides can't talk to each other...

Currently here is our current setup:

    --E3800(1)-- __________10Gb Fibre Run_____________--E3800(2)--

Config for both switches (Yes they have the exact same setup, hence same config):

    ---------NOTE------------
Port 25 is the Fibre SFP
    Ports 1-8, 13-18 are devices

    --------------------------

    module 1 type J9575x

    vlan 1
    name "DEFAULT_VLAN"
    untagged 9-12,19-22,26
    tagged 25
    no untagged 1-8,13-18,23-24
    no ip address
    exit

    vlan 200
    name "iSCSI"
    untagged 1-8,13-18,23
    tagged 25
    no ip address
    jumbo
    exit

    no dhcp image-file-update

With this config, the devices that are plugged in to the same switch can all talk to each other, however they can't talk to anyone over the fibre link, this occurs on both sides...

We haven't set an IP address for the VLAN because we don't want/need InterVlan routing or anything like that, we are just simply connecting two switches!

Can anyone see any problems with the switch config side of things? Or should I be looking at a device level?

Any help will be greatly appriciated :)!

    Kind Regards,

    Adam Sammut
