Linksys router problem

Hi,

I'm trying to change the DNS of my router (Lynksys WRT54G v5) under the "Static DNS x" in the basic configuration page.

And when I click "Save Settings" it takes forever and nothing changes. I need to restart (unplug/plug) the router to get internet again, but nothing happens.

I've waited looong time (20 mins aprox) and nothing changed.

Also happens when I try to modify something in the same page.

I've tried upgrading to latest firmware (official 1.00.9) and nothing changed. Still not working.

Anyone knows what's happening?

What are you trying to do? Also, are you making the changes while it is hooked up to the modem?

 

Yes, I'm wired to the router and accessing to the 192.168.1.1 admin panel.
And when I submit the changes (Save Configuration button) it takes forever. And never finishes.
