Linksys WRT recovery

Yesterday i tried to install DD-WRT firmware on my Linksys WRT54g V8. I am afraid my router may be bricked. I have no wireless connectivity Nor can i run ethernet through the modem. Unfortunately i can't find a driver for the USB-CSC cable. I have tried a TFTP application to re-install firmware with no success. Internet and port 1 lights are on. When i ping with ethernet connected i get a reply from 192.168.1.119: destination host unreachable. My Router IP is the default 192.168.1.119. If anyone could give me any advice i would greatly appreciate it.

 

I you sure the default IP is 192.168.1.119? I thought is was 192.168.1.1

Then use the setup wizard. You will need linksys firmware.

Them Router can be a pain in the butt when it comes too updating the firmware.

 

Do you have you IP static on the PC your flashing with?
And the gateway is usually defaulted to 192.168.1.1
So if you have a static IP and cant ping 192.168.1.1, try reseetting the router and ping again.
If not you may need to use the JTAG method to recover the router.
