linux 64 bit

ok first is it free?
does any1 have a link of the download site?
ive used windows all my life...isnt there a way to make it basically the same?
whats the difference between lin n win?

Yes it is free, unless you want support for it, where certain companies will charge a minimal fee (in comparison with windows).

I currently fool around with Fedora Core 3 x86_64 , but there are many others to choose from. if you do a few searches on this board you can find out quite a bit of info... and otehr than that... google is your friend

 

Agree with IYTC, I run Fedora Core 3 x86_64 also, very good, I posted the link for the distro download yesterday.
