Well after checking out the Linux distro ranks in https://www.distrowatch.com/
and seeing Manjaro at the top by almost twice the amount of users then the second ranked distro
    Capture.PNG
i decided to install it in one of my back up computers i found that not all motherboards are Linux friendly
i ended up using a hp pavilion AMD core .

first of all let me assure you this distro is clean easy to use with a
package manager called (pacman in the terminal)
it feels like windows runs like it and you can install windows programs with a pac called wine
i my self like using the terminal but you do not need to have any terminal knowledge to use Manjaro
    much like Ubuntu

so why is Ubuntu crashing in the poles ?
Ubuntu has a search utility in its GUI app search that records your searches (via chronicle) then next time your on line
some smartly placed ads popup oddly familiar to previous searches you have made in you GUI search
needless to say it saves key search words when you are just looking in your pc ....ikr the old mighty dollar<<in a free open source operating system no no no not me <<
that coupled with buggy systematic functions that are not getting fixed anytime soon
    (shame on the developers)

I will post Linux installation procedure next (if they is an interest in the tread then we can continue a helpful discussion)

    Download links
    Manjaro Distro (https://manjaro.org/get-manjaro/ ** i use minimalist **
i suggest you use the stable manjaro-xfce-17.1.12-stable-x86_64.iso

Next you will need a way to make a usb bootable thumb drive using the manjaro downloaded .iso
    the 2 main options are

    Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.8.3 https://www.pendrivelinux.com/downloads/Universal-USB-Installer/Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.8.4.exe

    YUMI-2.0.5.8 https://www.pendrivelinux.com/downloads/YUMI/YUMI-2.0.5.9.exe

    Its as easy as 1 2 3
1 chose manjaro from the drop menu
2 browse for the iso file in you pc select it
    3 selet your thumb drive
(if you check show all drives just be vigilant not to format the wrong one)

both will work i prefer YUMI it lets you put multiple distros in one thumb drive and boots in to a menu
to select witch one to test (yes test) or install << that i like
    d.PNG

    important
use licensed drives (it will ask you ) in the install

do not use your main pc for this older pc's are mostly linux friendly
not to old no 386 486 business
but a cheap used pc AMD or intell i rather AMD
fyi i found this pavilion on the side of the road its so fast in Linux manjaro
(due to the Linux file management system)
the rest of the install reboot with the thumb drive valla!

    last notes
let me just say that we have the abilities to manage our own operating systems we always did
the moment we let ms windows do well %99.9 of the work for us we lost in my opinion we become dumber
let me explain (the problems that are easy are hard ) making hard problems dam near impossible due to a lack of challenge.. like the old saying >> give a man a fish vs teach a man how to fish
(this is what am trying to do here )
