ok so i am running mandriva linux on a external usb drive. i am using a lilo boot loader on that drive. now on a computer that usb supports booting from usb it boots fine. and i have done it on like three computers. ok the thing is i want to be able to boot to a computer that doesnt support usb booting.

i am thinkking the solution lies in a floppy boot disk. that will load usb drivers and find the lilo boot loader on the usb drive and allow me to boot from there. can anyone provide me some help for this. i found some dos based ones that didnt work. i was thinking i needed like a basic kernel and lilo on it with usb drivers. but i dont know how to do this. and google doesnt get me anywhere. does anyone have any ideas.

you might try contacting the company of your flash drive and see if they have any drivers available for Dos.
