linux uninstall?????

okay so i just installed ubuntu 6.06 (LTS) on my computer alongside windows...but when i tried to uninstall it (by deleting the partition it was on) i rebooted my computer and it said something like "grub loading....error!"
i then reinstalled the same version of ubuntu and everything worked again (since i couldnt get windows to boot while the grub boot loader was broken)

please help!!!!

 

After you remove linux, you'll have to repair the boot record for (I'm assuming xp) So after removing the linux partition you'll need to boot off of your xp cd and choose recovery console. Once there you'll need to use the fixboot and fixmbr commands then all should be ok...........

You're welcome. Everything was ok before the linux experiment? What's the errors? Perhaps a repair installation may be in order.....

 

all the error messages were the same before and after the linux stuff

since all my media and important files are on my other computer, im thinkin of just reinstalling windows...

if i need any more help, ill just post another thread
