Linux/Windows dilemma with spyguard

I have a spyguardpro and malware virus among others on the computer on windows. My computer can use both windows and linux, but I can't fix the problem through windows, because the computer continues to shut down before I can download any software, and the antivirus software recommended to me doesn't work on linux (adaware and combox). Do you have any suggestions?

You could try using Linux for a while too, you might actually like it

You certainly can't catch any spyware/adware or any Windows based nasty in Linux.

I don't boot windows for days at a time, but I can still do all the things I normally do, like surf the web, check my emails, use a messenger type chat program (cough) even download an MP3 or two I can burn CD's, use OpenOffice, even annoy Grumbles and co in the Majorgeeks arcade by beating their scores :major
