To just check out Linux without really installing it you can download and
burn a Knoppix bootable CD ISO.

It has worked on most every system i've tried so far.

I went to dl Knoppix from bit torrent but there are a lot of choices...

Any suggestions on what version I should get?

I actually downloaded a version last night, but It wasn't english..

I think it was german..

The EN at the end means english. DE means German.

I wish I would have known that last night...

I wasn't really taking language into consideration for some reason..

The DE is the one I downloaded, but now I am getting the EN...

Maybe I should learn german...
