Litestep & network issues

Does anyone here use Litestep and can help me? The last time I installed Litestep, it worked perfectly for a week or so then (without me changing any settings that I'm aware of) my dialup connection stopped working. I could dial in but access nothing with any program.

Whatever the problem is it is caused by the alternate shell, not by my network settings under Explorer. When I tried to install xoblite recently, the same thing happened but immediately.

Before the last time I installed XP, Litestep worked perfectly for ages with no network issues. I don't know if this is relevant or not, I can't think of anything that might've been changed in the reinstall of XP that would've affected any shells.

Please help me. I really want my Litestep to work again.
