Too long...

I cut my hand up real bad as a teenager, so had to learn to write with my left hand. It came very easily, probably as my father is left-handed and my mother is right-handed.

 

Got a thing for heels huh? Well, you must be revelling with today's fashion of 15-centimetre heels (5.9 inches) - they are the height of fashion!LOL

Friends know most things except these bits:

1. Eyes - am shortsighted in one eye and longsighted in the other, which is great because I don't need to rely on glasses and automatically exercise use of either eye as required, except when over-reading to avoid eyestrain.
   
2. Enjoy whitewater rafting :hyper- don't do it often enough and try to fit it in during holidays.
   
3. Good at ice skating - such fun:cool

1. I had my own ATV at 2 years old, and have been driving snowmobiles since the same age

2. I love dirtbiking more than anything in the world. Especially when there's a gravel pit nearby I can sneak into, one with huge hills to fly off of. Thinking of buying a full-electric bike.

3. Nuts to the Hitman franchise - I was the first to produce a video game where the main character was an assassin, back in high school. Still have copies. Has a wicked sound track.

I have no idea what kind it was.. came across it with a broken bone in its wing, did what i could for it. It lived for a couple years in a modified bird cage.

Actually it is because you are a female. No offence meant here but female brains are better at using both sides of the brain, both 'digital' and 'analogue', where as men are concentrated on the analogue side. I think most people know that the left side of the brain generally speaking controls the right ... so therefore the ladies do have some advantages over the men in certain areas.

 

I am sure that you are in no need of hope. Your natural charm and charism will carry you through!

 

Okay, I'll play along here.

My trivia.

1) Eye colour:- Look blue in photographs. But more like olive greeny colour. Wife used to say I had 'cat's eyes'. Does that make me 'Cat Man'?? <shudder!>

2) I'm ambidextrous, but write with my right hand, mainly - 'cause that's what I was told everyone should do, back when I was about five, in the sixties (showing my age now, lol). If someone throws me a ball, I usually catch it with my left hand (depending on direction).

~ (Hmm, okay - I don't know whether that's good or bad in my case. )

3) My house is like a Museum, with fossils, insects and 'bugs' in plastic glass, rock samples, ancient carvings all over the living rooms. I have a scorpion in plastic glass sitting on my printer, and a skull on my computer. (Well, I AM the Phantom, right?) A mini Tesla coil, lava lamp, and assorted, odd things reside in my office. (I'll have to post some pics. of it one day, if I ever get around to recharging my digi-cam., eh.)

Some people think I'm a strange, strange Scientist. I have no idea why, LoL rolleyes

LOL…that’s the fun part about learning…took quite a few spills myself in the early days as a teenager when at the local ice rink. Actually, we used to “fall” across guys we particularly liked…great way to meet and start a conversation…then would end up with them for the rest of the session as they “taught” us how to skate.

Popular sport here abouts too…especially as a weekend sport.

LOL…wouldn’t go down well in today’s climate either.

At one of our beaches, the trees lining the Corso become full of fruit bats in the evening…you can hear them as they fly about…they do look like large birds in flight overhead at night too.LOL

They come to my backyard and surrounding yards of an evening too…I’ve often see a few hanging upside down from my trees’ branches squeaking at the territorial possums who object to them “hanging about”

Not me, I started out being a south paw, but it was unpopular back the 40's, so they forced me to use my right and now my left is totally worthless.

 

The only Tesla I know of is a musical group (song Signs is my favorite) found the coil and still don't know :confused

2. My ex-wife left me within two weeks of getting permission to stay in the UK.
3. I'm really quite a decent and honourable sort of guy.
4. Despite all the odds, I got custody of my daughter.
5. I do a lot of work on the net for the downtrodden guys who end up paying for chidren they see once a fortnight if they are lucky.
6. I have a brain the size of a universe and what do they ask me to do: "Show the visitors in Mustard, remove a virus from this computer Charlie, stick a broom up your a*se and sweep the floor when you've got a minute."

That has to qualify for "little known facts".

 

Thanks Kes, She even wanted to take our daughter to Uganda for a "short holiday" a while back. I told the ex to poke it, she took me to court, the court asked my daughter if she wanted to go. She said no. End of story. For 7 years I have not had a penny in maintenance , for the school trips, books, uniform, sports gear - not a penny. If the situation were reversed, I would be hounded mercilesslly by the CSA.

That's why I stick up for guys on sites like "Fathers For Justice"

 

Re #1: Awww, come on...don't condemn all of us...there are plenty of good ones around once you look away from those crappy ones

Re #5: Excellent! "Single" dads need a community support network. Men are often forgotten in these scenarios...it isn't only the single mums who need support.

1) I'm Left Handed.
2) I have a Computer Networking College diploma and a Enterprise Business College diploma but I'm really not that great at spelling.
3) I was born with spina bifida.

 

I'm impressed...particularly given you were born with spina bifida which in some cases causes difficulties with learning (not sure if you fall directly into that category).

 

yes I fall into that category. Thats why I'm not so great in English but Computers, Math and Business I can do quite fine if taught right. I have some dyslexia. Teacher never marked me on spelling when it was hand written because of my learning disability.
