Like there is any such thing in the computer industry, of all things. (I think they have it confused with pre-installed obsolescence!)

is that rust and mold i see on that computer?? hehe. that's probably why emachines isn't really around much anymore

 

I've just had to repair a E-Machine for a friend, the mobo had died, spent ages getting all the componants out of it. They glue the parts in, I had to chip the glue away from the graphics card to put it in a new motherboard. They even glued the IDE cables onto the mobo and onto the hard disks and CD drives.

The offers always look good in the paper, but the machines are crap

Oddly enough one of my clients just bought an emachines laptop and it works...............go figure
