Little picky here but ehhh why not! Read Please!

Last time i posted it was about my boot up screen for my graphics card wondering if that was normal (which it was) now i would like to know something else about my boot up. This may sound silly *BIOS boots up* *Graphic Card boots* (Black Screen with flashing underscore in top left hand corner) *Windows boots* So is that normal about the black screen with the flashing underscore > _ :confused It only last 2 to 3 seconds. It doesn't bother me just want to learn why, what, how everything works Please get back to me if it does this for you. Help me understand this a little if you can!

Someone correct me if I am wrong please. I think the computer is self checking during the blinking. Mine does it too. One time it blinked and then a message appeared that my battery was low and to press a certain key to continue. I finally changed the battery as the warning came up each boot and now we are back to just the blink. Hope that helps.

 

I run a multi-boot system using EasyBCD. I get the flashing cursor in the upper left of the black screen briefly until the boot choice screen appears. I think that it's looking for the boot loader(s) and once found or selected, it continues with the rest of the boot process.
