    I start up my PC and i get ;

    --------------------------------------------------
    Marvell 88SE91xx Adapter - BIOS Version 1.0.0.0022
    PCIe x1 5.0Gbps
    Adapter1 Disks Information: AHCI Mode
    No hard disk is detected!

    <Press Space to Continue>
    --------------------------------------------------

    This disappears after a second and then PC continues to run fine and shut down no problem.

    Could anyone give me some advice on how to solve this issue, many thanks in advance!

    Luke.

    Hi Luke

    What I would try first is to enter the BIOS and the key presses will be listed on screen as you boot to do this, some options are DEL and some F2 etc

    Then look for the "boot" menu and make sure that the HDD is listed and 1st boot device and save and exit to test.

    likelyhood is that you have a network boot option in your startup boot list in the BIOS that will cause this, its no major issue, but an annoyance, you could in the BIOS disable the JMicron SATA controller or Marvell Controller as those could be for extra HDDs and devices, as many motherbords these days come with not only Intel Controllers but others for RAID Arrays etc.
