Ok. I attached a zip file. Please download and extract it. There will be a file called sysinfo.bat inside it. Please double click that file. It will make a file called info.txt. Please attach that file to your next post.

Yeah thats right. You need to strike enter twice. Then it will make the file
(don't worry, the file not found thing is OK)

 

where is it putting it i cant find where it is plz help

It puts it in the same directory as the file. You need to extract it then run. When you click the attachment and are given the option to run or save, you need to save.

Also, please list any devices(internal and external) that are connected to your computer (wireless card, ethernet controller, printer, etc)

ran the test n nothing base score on here use to be 4.2 now 2.9 an dont have any thing attached to this but ty for the help it elimminated some :banghead

 

You might have some bad ram. If you have more than 1 stick, take one out than boot. Then put it back in, take out the other, then boot, and so on.

 

i put 1g an a 3g memory stick in if i do how do i boot when it crash it ask to i dont know how to make it

 

it was a 512 stick 2 of them an had a computer place install a 1 g an a 3g thats all i know on that an i have windows vista home prem... an start up menu i guess is the programs that comes on when u start it up they are yahoo msn, fix ,it norton runs in back ground ,google desk top ,realtek hd audio manageran i reinstall from factory settings not from disk e machine w5243

 

memory checks good. norton still has 3months leftwould it be wise to delet it when its up to date. or is one of the other better, an going to try an remove some of the start up menu stuff ty
