loadqm.exe ?

i have a program running called loadqm.exe
i did a search and found different things about this.
i read that its responsible for slowing computers down tremendously. is this true?
its used for MSN? i dont use MSN, messenger, or anything like that. is it safe to remove this?

 

i use Zone Alarm for my firewall.
i didnt have Microsoft QMgr loader, loadqm.exe in my program control. i added it to my program control, and i then blocked it. is that ok/safe?

 

As far as I know, loadqm.exe is a que manager loader and is usually either installed with either MSN Explorer or Messenger.

Whether or not it can slow computers down I can't answer with any degree of certainty, but there are various stories and also reports of it being a security risk.

Regardless, it's not vital.
