Local Disk "d" Nearly Full,??

Why has my local disk "d" nearly full,?? is my computer backing up files,all the time,?

You can see by the two screenhunter pic,s what is in each disk,,i don,t have a folder marked old folder.

Use Disk Clean Up on Disk D - it has two parts, the first part for temp files, and the second part 'clean system files' that will list all old system files.

But given the sizes and free spaces on those two drives it looks to me like the system files are stored on the least optimum drive as you have so much space on C. There must a a lot of data on your D drive that could easily be moved to C

 

Install Treesize Free and all will be revealed

 

Can't see which of your folders is using the most space. MediaID.bin is associated with backups which you appear to have been doing. Which folder is using most of the space on D and what's inside the folder? Earthling's instruction to use TreeSizeFree is a good tip, but you should be able to see how much data is in each folder on D by hovering the mouse cursor over the folder. If size doesn't show for a folder, right click on the folder and select properties. That will show you how much data is there...
