Locating Outlook Rules file .rwz

I recently last my hard drive but had backed up most of my data. I'm trying to locate the Outlook rules file (.rwz I've read) to import my Outlook email rules but do not know where to look - can anyone provide some guidance?

Have you already exported the rules before? It generally prompts you to be saved in 'My Documents' folder.

You have to existing rules defined in the Rules Wizard, then on the Rules Wizard window click on 'Options' button and you will see the "Import Rules" and "Export Rules" buttons. You will have to click on the 'export' option and have Outlook create one first.
[Outlook (menu bar) > Tools > Rules Wizard... > Options > Export Rules]

If you are certain that you have the file, then do a search for it:

Start > Search/Find > *.rwz (choose local drive C or My Computer as 'look in' option).

 

Unfortunately, I had never exported the rules file (it be nice if it and any other data was included in the PST).

I have searched for the .rwz with no luck so I'm wondering if the file type/name is correct. But I will search one more time just incase.

Like I said earlier seach for *.RWZ extension was correct and leave file name as *, meaning any name....if it exists and you searched the entire system for that file name, you should find it.
