lock my PC

Anyone know of a good free program that will allow me to lock my PC with a password or something? Thanks

 

sure assuming windows so windows login should be good.

If you REALLY are paranoid. (Or if you want to up it a step...
still weak, still want to keep at least honest people out)

You better set the BIOS to only boot from the hard-drive,
and you better set the BIOS password.

Still, anyone with physical access could easily reset the CMOS by removing the battery, or steal your hard-drive itself. Unless your data is encrypted, its all just a matter of access then.

so, if you really want to deny access to data, there may be quite a bit more concerns...
