    I know how to do this in Win XP via a registry edit, but I can't seem to find how to do this in Windows 2000. Can anyone help?

    Thanks, :rolleyes:

    I'll double check this later at work (where we run both xp and 2000), but don't you just right click on the task bar and choose lock the task bar?

    Here is something to try ..... make sure you note what you do to be able to undo:
    ;Set taskbar size and positions
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects2]
    "Settings"=hex:28,00,00,00,ff,ff,ff,ff,02,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,3b,00,00,00,1e,\
    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,e2,03,00,00,00,05,00,00,00,04,00,00
    Win 2000 doesn't come with the lock taskbar setting

    I wasn't able to find a lock taskbar setting in 2000. Will try the registry edit you gave me, thx.
