Install of XP Professional was overwritten by a fresh install of XP Home due to absolute no-other-way necessity.

The orginal user accounts, found under c:\documents and settings\, were:
    Administrator
    All Users
    David

Attempting to access Administrator or All Users via the new Windows install is fine, but attempting to access the David folder gives 'Access Denied'. The same happens under SafeMode Command Prompt. I can't use Old DOS because the partition is NTFS.

The new user accounts, also found under c:\documents and settings\, are:
    Administrator.ARCHIVE
    All Users.WINDOWS
    David.ARCHIVE

I just want to copy the Old David Files, into the new David.ARCHIVE folder. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Thank you :)

Yup indeed, David and David.ARCHIVE are both admin accounts.
