Have E Machine E627-5279 Windows 7. Daughters computer acted strange but when I would check, the only thing I could find that it was doing, was. It would not wirelessly connect to internet. So she would plug it in. Now, I'm on my other computer begging for help. It will not do anything. No safe mode, nothing. Black screen, with a blue lit message. It will only F2, I have no idea what that stuff is suppose to say, So I did not touch it.
Says Harddisk Security SATA Port 0 Hitachi HTS545016B9ALock.... Back it says Mfg.12/10, and I bought the extra insurance, so I'm sure it's under warranty. Is it a loss? Have I lost all my pictures? HELP ME. That laptop will not do anything, so I'm on the other one.

 

This looks like the hard drive somehow became password locked. Getting data from a locked laptop hard drive is next to impossible. I am not sure how it became encrypted. Emachines may be able to help if you prove your the owner of the computer. I believe emachines is now owned Acer.

Does it ask for a password. If you try three times and fail it may throw out a code. If this is a BIOS password which I do not think it is, you can take the code that it gives and then use one of the scripts here on another computer to get the correct password. You have to have .NET framework installed on the computer.
