    Hi All,
I have a problem with my Logitech Pro 9000 Webcam. It has been working fine for around 8 months but now only works in one application - Skype. I would like the ability to use it for other applications also i.e. Gmail Chat and for other corporate applications but only the Microphone works with anything else.

I am not too sure when the Webcam stopped working as I have been travelling for a little while and not had access to it. But, in the meantime have added (and removed) a few software packages here and there. It is only now when I have tried to use some other applications (such as GMail Chat, ooVoo, Windows Movie Maker, ULead Movie Factory) that I have found that there is a problem.

I have removed all the programs that I can think of that may have been using the Webcam, either the camera or the Microphone. But still the problem remains. I have also uninstalled/re-installed the drivers numerous times.

Is it possible to see a list of applications which are 'using' the device at any one time? I assumed that as the light on the front was not on then the device was not being used - am I wrong.

Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated as I am already bald and have no further hair to keep pulling out!

I am running a Dell Latitude D620 laptop, XP Pro, SP2.

I look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your help ahead of time.

    Jamase
