Hi all, I'm new to the message boards BTW :) . Alright I have those regular standard speakers u get when u buy a new computer and decided to get some real speakers for my computers. I was thinking about getting these speakers http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-121-107&depa=0 The only problem I'm having is that my soundcard. I only have a SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio soundcard. I only have enough money left for the Logitech Z2200 speakers. Would it sound that really bad if I hook up the Logitech speakers with the crappy soundcard I have now?

the onboard sound could probably give you decent sound, mind you, just barely decent and nowhere near as good as the Audigy2 or any Via Envy24-powered solution, but it'll be acceptable.

So would it even be worth buying those speakers? I dont wanna spend a 100 on 2.1 speakers and have the sound barely decent.

O BTW can some1 recommned me a soundcard. Not really looking for the top of the line soundcard just good enough to enjoy my new speakers. I'm kinda in a budget now since I just spend money on the speakers so. Thank for the help :)
