Logon/Password problem with Windows 2000

Hello,
Hope you can help. I am unable to log onto to my computer 2 days now. Everytime I enter my password, administrator password or Guest PW It keeps telling me..cannot log you onto the system. Reenter PW. I had it set up where user had to press CTrl+Alt+Del then enter PW. I shut it down several times, I tryied start up in Safe mode etc. I really do not want to have to reinstall Win 2 K again. All of my stuff is on there!!
Any suggestions/help, please?? Thanks

 

simple things first. make sure Caps Lock isn't on.

You could always put the drive in another Win2k / XP box and get your data off it it..then resinstall win2k and then put your stuff back on it. Those are all the options I have for you right now.
