Logs Posted For Review - W7 Acting Funky With Browsers

    Jedis,

    Not the first time I've been here just to run some scans and post logs for review to see what up with a machine. Friend of mine left me his machine for the weekend to post logs and see what they reveal. Browsers acting funky and a PDF ops up on boot from the C: drive. Also can print a PDF from one browser but not the other meaning Firefox vs Chrome. Adware Cleaner was run and the one item was cleaned so I posted the post-clean log reflecting change.

    Remove these in both ADWCleaner and Hitman.

    their program is no longer free, but you can use the demo version for this cleaning.

    It auto updates, and you click scan. After it's finished, click on the icon that looks like Cell phone strength bars. High-light the report (by date log was produced) and click on the "Open Report" icon. (looks like a folder). That notepad.txt can then be copied/pasted into another .txt doc and saved. Upload that, please.

    Thnkas TimW.

    PUP.Optional.SpecialSearchOffer SpecialSearchOffer was initially removed prior to post using ADWCleaner and the resulting report was included in first post. I ran Hitman again and it resulted in zero threats as it did initially per log posted in first post.

    I have attached Zemana log for review.
