Looking for a Anti-Virus that will run without need to install it (scan and removal)

Hi.
I need a Anti-Virus Toolkit that will run in a win based OS.
The requirements for it are:
1- No need of installation
2- Free (if possible)
3- Updates available.

does it have to be a real time scanner? there are tools like Stinger that are stand alone but only scan for a small amount of viruses but those of which are very high risk.

Doesn't need to be a real time scanner.

Yes, i do know of stinger, i also use the one from trend micro that is quite good.

But... i've seen a tool from MicroWorld eScan Anti-Virus Toolkit Utility that performs updates from Kaspersky and does the scan when i wish (not a real time scanner)... only problem is that only reports the virus and...

I wanted one that would do the report and the removal as well, that is.. if there is.

Thanks. I also use that one but it doesn't find most of the virus. I also use the one from symantec as well (but this one only reports).

What i was looking for was a program to have in a CD or something and i could take to go someone's house, run it and "voila" virus scan and removal in one.

I decided to use the forum to ask for one after a couple of failed tentatives of finding such type of program in google and other search engines.

I see. Sounds good in theory. You'd have to burn a new CD every week to keep it updated though. Norton & McAphee used to give the option of creating floppies to allow scanning from a command prompt, it would be nice if they gave the option of using a CD for the same thing. Maybe they do, all I know is my Norton Corporate edition doesn't seem to.

Laugh, you're right... i said CD but i was more thinking of using a USB pen or maybe my mini-cd rw.

The problem is we can only scan with it... if we buy the full version it doesn't come like this, it's a normal anti-virus program and what i wanted was one that would do the scan and removal without the use of instalation.
