    that tells me how long certain exe files have been running during the current session and in total, because i want to measure my work flow

    ideally the application would allow the user to add exe files by hand into some sort of timer list, that would then log the time that the selected exe's were active

    any idea if there is an application like this anyone?

    thanks

    update:

    maybe my first post is a bit off the cuff so, i thought that i would explain myself a little better

    what i am looking to do;

    when *.exe file is active, i would like to log the amount of time
    that said executable is started / running in a current session and,
    a cumulative log for each application

    that is to say;

    session logs;

    [24/06/09][07:19] - notepad.exe - session [03h23m]
    [28/06/09][18:24] - notepad.exe - session [01h52m]
    [12/07/09][23:04] - notepad.exe - session [00h56m]
    [13/07/09][01:24] - notepad.exe - session [00h18m]
    [13/07/09][02:39] - notepad.exe - session [00h32m]

    [24/06/09][07:19] - calculator.exe - session [02h23m]
    [28/06/09][18:24] - calculator.exe - session [01h12m]
    [12/07/09][23:04] - calculator.exe - session [00h42m]
    [13/07/09][01:24] - calculator.exe - session [00h19m]
    [13/07/09][02:39] - calculator.exe - session [00h57m]

    cumulative log;

    [24/06/09] - [13/07/09] - notepad.exe - [10h15m]
    [24/06/09] - [13/07/09] - calculator.exe - [09h02m]

    the application would have the option to manually add executables from an
    explorer window ie;

    c:/program files/notepad/notepad.exe - [add] [remove] [reset]
    c:/program files/notepad/calculator.exe - [add] [remove] [reset]

    i have been in google for about ten million years and still can not find an application that does this

    any help would be greeted with a thumbs up!
