looking for a file manager shareware/freeware

I realize, of course, that you can expand a directory tree in the "folders" window of Window Explorer, and that you can sort the subfolders within a folder by date, name, etc in the "content" window. I'd like to sort all of the folders that appear in the expanded directory tree of a drive by "date modified" (ie. my tree goes drive/folder/subfolder/file. I'd like to sort all of the available subfolders on the drive by date modified, but in Windows Explorer you can only view and sort the contents of one folder at a time). Does anyone know of a program that would allow me to do this?

xplorer2 is probably my favorite file manager/file browser/explorer and Free Commander is a close second.... check 'em out!

(so far, I've tried ExplorerXP, Free Commander, Foldmonkey, Advanced File Manager, Advanced Directory Printer, XYplorer, xplorer 2 Pro, Folder Express, and AVD Filelist; no luck with any of them).
