Hi, there. Does anyone know of a free graphics program (that's easy for beginners) where a person can transfer the action in a DVD to a gif so that the gif shows a piece of what happened in the movie/TV episode?

    EXAMPLE: http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg203/angelswilliam/Journal%20Graphics/Avatars/ASK%20WHO/515b6b8e.gif

The only way I currently know how to show action from movies/TV shows is via screencaps put into Animation Shop frames; but those, of course, look very choppy and crappy. When you're showing a couple kissing, dancing, or any other activity that requires smooth movement, that just won't do.

    Thanks for any help!
