Looking For a Good New Start Up Page

I am looking for a good new start up homepage. I am afraid to just do a search and use one that way as I am sure there are some shady ones out there that just want to install crap on your computer. One with an overview and links to sources is what I am looking for. So, does anyone dknow of any good ones?

My likes in no particular order are:

World News
Beer
Computers
Video Games
Beer
Cars (especially german cars)
Technology
Art

As you can see I am quite eclectic. Despite my education, I am a simpleton at times as well.
