    Hey Guys;

    Hoping someone here can help me... I'm not much of a PC gamer as when it comes to 99% of my graphically heavy games I use my Xbox Series X.

    But I have recently came across a game that I've enjoyed for years called Out of the park baseball 22 in which I don't quite have the system requirements for.. What I'm lagging in is video ram apparently which after checking my desktop that tells me I need to upgrade my graphics card... As the game requires 256 and I only have 128 as doing the test on "Can I Run It" that's the only thing I lag in and the game honestly it doesn't have much graphics to it so you can't really turn things down.

    My PC is a Acer Inspire - TC-885-EB17:

    Device name DESKTOP-RM5J99P
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz
    Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.9 GB usable)
    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
    Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

    I'm looking for a graphics card that I can just toss in, I don't want to have to replace anything else like I don't want to replace the motherboard or power supply either.. If I have to go that route then honestly I would no doubt just spend the coin and buy a better PC so that I don't have to worry about any more future problems.

    I don't want anything insanely expensive for the same reason for not wanting to replace anything, as I kind of already have another pc picked out if it comes down to that.

    Hope that's not too much to ask, even though sadly I already get the feeling that someone is going to tell me to go buy a new pc

    Thanks in advance
    Ken

    You have an Acer Aspire, not inspire.
    Specs https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/content/model/DT.BAPAA.035

    There are 2 expansion slots: PCI Express 1 and PCI Express 16.

    You'll have to wait for someone who knows graphics cards to recommend choices. Also keep in mind that you might have to get a better power supply for the demands of the graphics card.

    Thanks for the info, I'm hoping I won't have to since if I have to do power supply and graphics card plus get someone to install the power supply I'm no doubt not far off from buying a new PC for the cost.
