Looking for a Internet Porvided.

I live pretty far into the country..we just moved so we lsot our DSL because bellsouth will not run this far.

We can not even get Cable had to go back to Dish Network Satellite.

I live in Moscow tennessee 38057.

I am using AOL dial up thogh firefox....AOL DIALER.

But i mis my always connected kinda hi speed and it takes forever to download windows update or anything now.

If it did not make sence then tell me and i will rephrase the whole paragraph.

If you live in the "woods" you can have a phone, but DSL is another ball game.

 

He said he's out in the country. DSL max is 20,000 feet from the CO or remote terminal. And no cable, either. The only alternative I see to dial-up is satellite-based-- your broadband downstream comes from the satellite, while your upstream goes through a dial-up connection. Question is, does the satellite internet provider have a number to dial that's a local call?

 

lol im trying to stay away from paying alot of money monthly for a good connection over 56K.

 

Do Dial up Accerlators work?
can u point me to 1 that will work with Aol Dailer.

I have searched over 15 DSL providers and noone will run DSL out here.

I might go higher then DSL...i'm thinking Satilite(SP?)
