    Greetings,

Im kind of stuck in a decision loop, Ive been thinking of buying a gps unit, and kind of stumbled on using a tablet or netbook for the same thing. Any thoughts on such a setup? And any reason it couldnt be used to watch a movie on? We are taking a trip and kind of like the idea of an all in one unit, instead of a gps, portable dvd player....plus with the added ability of checking email, doing some internet checking.
Not opposed to refurbs as I really dont need to spend alot on something like this. Not exactly a daily use item, but sounds like it could be nice to have.

    Thanks
    Kevin

I would suggest a small netbook, any idea of your budget?

Well, I think I was looking at about 300 or so if I would have bought the gps and dvd seperate. As I said, I dont care so much about used if that gets me in the ball park-dont need a supercomputer.

    $300 ,€300 or £300

Sorry, but it would be rather annoying if i went looking in US sites, to be told "oh, err those links are useless, i live in ******).

    Thankyou.
