Looking for a new keyboard and mouse.

I've been using a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and I believe that it may be on it's way out.
The mouse keeps losing the signal, even though I always keep fresh batteries on hand.
What type of wireless set-up does anybody else have and how do you like it?

Looking to stay around $50.

 

I actually just got the Logitech Keyboard and mouse for my b-day a few weeks ago. It is great for what I use it for, I can take it to the coffee table, play my games that require keyboard and mouse, control my music, all from the couch. :cool
I've got my CPU hooked up to TV, so all my games and such can go thru the TV. So the wireless mouse and keyboard are ideal for me.

Mine's about 2 years old and lately the mouse has been crapping out. I use rechargeable batteries and keep a spare set on hand.

I'm pretty sure it's not the batteries, because I have 2 digital cameras and use the same batteries in both and they seem to hold up well.

Looking around, I may have to up the budget a smidge to get something really dependable.

I too quite like the logitech range of peripherals over the way overpriced but quite solid microsft products...

Logitech do some nice ergonomic boards to and you would expect to get about 3 years+ I guess depending on usage on most of the logitech products I have used.

I believe that I got about 4 years or so from my last Logitech set-up. In fact, still have it laying around somewhere.

This one is about 2 years old and I seem to be developing mouse problems.
I suppose I could just get a new mouse, but I'm the kind of person that prefers to get all new..
