Hopefully someone could shed some light on what should be best. I've been looking for a new router with a good QoS options. I have to share my internet connection with someone who streams video all day, and it's hogging all my bandwidth. The router I have is a D-Link 2640b, it has qos but the settings are full of jargon that I can't understand. I would ideally like something that can give my pc priority over the network for when I online game, stream or skype. Looking at this seems to fit the bill, but I just want to make sure it will do what I want. I have a 1.26mb connection

Any suggestions from someone who knows would be appreciated too.

    Thanks for reading.

Build your own out of a desktop running pfSense, m0n0wall, or Smoothwall. You can also use third party firmware like dd-wrt to enhance certain routers also.
