Looking for a program to alter visual settings (saturation) for one game

Hi everyone. I'm trying to play a specific game which suffers from terrible visual design. The game is extremely dark and oversaturated, to the point where i got a headache from 5 minutes of looking at it. The art direction is physically painful to me, but i would still like to enjoy the game.

I'm pretty sure the problem could be easily solved by just upping brightness and reducing saturation on my monitor/pc. But that would affect everything else i use too, which is undesireable. The game does not have any such options within itself.

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on some kind of program/tool i could use, to easily set these values only when i'm using this game, and change it back afterwards. An acceptable compromise would be changing between presets with a hotkey or somesuch.

Possibly related, i'm using Windows XP SP3,(old, i know) and my video card is an Nvidia 8800 GTS.

What you need, although rarely used lately so I can only suggest is a program that sits in the try and allows you to modify your disply, then easily switch back. Here are a couple:

This one could be really nice by lowering your settings to what the game expects but by changing resolution it might mess up any open windows when you return, so not sure:

Most video cards now have settings so look into your graphic card settings, it is possible, with the latest drivers, that you can setup a profile to play, then disable when done.

That said, the first program mentioned above is your best bet, just wanted to give you options if it don't work for you.
