Looking for a software tool to synchronize

I want to be able to synchronize two folders on two different machines, that contain the same information. These folders are music folders, and I have most of the same stuff in each one, but their are a few differences. Since I download music on both my laptop and my desktop, i'd like to find a tool that will automatically copy only the files that are not already in the folder.
I am looking for any options right now, and would appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

 

You can easily write your own script (ie make a software tool) to do this. There may be better solutions, but if nobody comes up with anything, PM me, and I'll be glad to help you out

 

Thanks. I don't know how to do scripts, but i'm pretty good at following directions and common sense, and i've been playing with my machines for a year or so now.

 

Offline files and folders can do it, if you have XP Pro installed.

To specify, I am running Windows 2000 Pro on both machiens in question. One is an HP Laptop, and the other is a Compaq Desktop. I have a home network, on which both machines are connected.

 

Desktop is named Desktopd510
Laptop is name HPNotebook
Both folders are called Music, both are located on the local hard drive, and both folders are shared.
