looking for a sound extractor program

    What I'm looking for is a program to extract audio from video. The video's i want to extract sound from are in quicktime format and windows media player format. If anyone can help me on this I'd appreciate it because i've been looking around and i really can't find anything that does this job. Thanx for any help yuh can give

    yeah that is exactly what im looking for. The extracting is the major part but having the converter would make it a lot easier as well... thanx for helping me out i appreciate it
