Looking for a sound program

I have a beat from and song and I want to add my own lyrics from a microphone I have. Is their any program out that will play the song and record AND record from my microphone?

if your looking for a program that will strip the vocals from the original beat that u wanna put vocals over i dont think there is actually a program that can do that perfectly as when stuff is mixed down to a track its prety hard to remove just the vocals as u would have to remove what ever is in midle of the stereo field ( that is where most of the vocals lie ) and if u try to remove the vocals by removing whats in the middle of the stereo field ull also remove what ever else is in the middle of the stereo field not just the vocals im not totaly sure if there is a program that can remove vocals completely and leave the rest of the track completely intact but if uve already got the instrumental ( the beat with out vocals ) and u just wanna lay ur own stuff on top sound forgoe or cake walk sonar 5.0 producer edition or cubase SX 3 will do just fine and if your using a mac theres also logic 7 that later 3 are used by alot of studios along with pro tools but i wouldnt sugest pro tools coz you are looking at a verry verry expensive package lol like in the $1000 mark lol but yes i use sonar here at home and it does me perfectly fine although it does take a little time to understand how it works but if ur really not after a hugely professional sound then just go sound forge its just as good specially for them stuff around home projects but for that little extra profesinalisim i would go cubase or sonar or if u wanna go even further logic 7 ( mac only unforunetly ) or pro tools ( u need pro tools hard ware to run pro tools hence why its soo expensive ) any way mate if u wanna know any more pm me im glad to help out if i can
