When I start playing games on my computer, it keeps turning off,as if crashing, but does not reboot as it would normally. I need to know if it is turning off, due to overheating or faulty power supply, so I want to get a temperature monitor program with a history, so after the computer turns off I can reboot it and see whether the temperature had spiked before crash or whether it stayed fairly constant. Also, if you can think of something else that could be to blame for this problem tell me please.

Speedfan is good for monitoring temps but i dunno if it keeps a history.....It wouldnt hurt to try tho. If you have an Asus motherboard, try Asus Probe; it keeps a history

yea it kinda sounds like a PSU problem. If it was overheating it would usually restart itself or at least tell u why: something like, "the computer has shut itself down to protect it due to something" That happened to me once when my water pump got blocked
