looking for a way to backup system files in xp

Windows explorer, drag and drop .The tips and tricks section has a how to cut (copy) and paste as well, same idea. If we can help more let us know, like if you want to do it automated. Frankly, there is little to no need to do that, with XP you have system restore as well as repair by booting from the CD, so I cant help but be curious as to why the need to back these up, except maybe once.

 

Backing up your bios can usually be done with the tools that came with your motherboard, or by downloading latest tool. Check your manufacturers website for their flashing tool and run it and look for the backup option. Typically, you can back it up to floppy.

More importantly, do you know how to reset your BIOS, which is another way to restore the BIOS to factory, shipped settings?
