    Hello.
I'm looking for any software or way to capture game-footage off my PC. I have a Winfast PVR video capture card and an NVidia GeForce 5900 graphics card. I own Pinnacle Studio 9 and have some great ideas as far as game footage goes; but I don't know how to capture it! Is there a way to run video from my graphics card to both the capture card and my monitor, or any program that would do this for me? I've yet to see if I can run it into my capture card. The question is hazy, but help me however you can. Thankyou.

PS. What do most game-related media providers use?

the best and easiest way i can think of is by using a second computer to do the recording, or using a tape recorder (or equivalent) to do the recording, then digitize it from the tape or equivalent. I don't recommend a feedback loop since that could cause potential problems.

i guess, theoretically, you can use a second monitor and put the video window there, but the leadtek has a problem with dual monitors, so i don't know.

    Thankyou.
I've looked into it (I work in an IT department; a novice, myself, but with an expert to whom I grant the title "gift from God" to PC's), and my boss suggested using the S-Video out to the S-Video in on my ulead. About the dual-monitors: yes. It's awful; dual monitors create more problems than problems have been created with... with whatever. NEVER use a dual-setup with that stupid PVR. I'm following that link and I'll see what happens. I'll also post my followup when I reach a conclusion. Thanks.

    Followup time.
The S-Video cable option is a no-go. I attempted to set up an N-Vidia powered "cloned" dual monitor display in witch the second montior was set to M/NTCS (a default TV setting in the Americas). PVR could not and would not read the feed, and the S-Video had to be disconnected from the card to return it to its normal function. However, I found a program that allows the recording and capturing of both in-game pictures and footage. The link is as follows: Fraps
I've yet to test the software, but all seems well on this front. Thanks guys.
