Looking For Career Advice - Entry Programming

So I have been seriously considering a career change in the direction of software production, specifically AI and Machine Learning and I know Python is the big go-to for that. What I DON'T know is what education programs to choose to best learn this.

For a bit of background I am a gamer and a power user with my A+ only. My exposure to programming is next to zero. So I am looking for some educational recommendations to help me learn this skill from the ground up. I know I could just google this, but between google's ad pages and the number of biased review sites, I find it difficult to trust those sources of information.

Looking for a point in the right direction from someone who either does, has done, or works close enough to doing machine learning and AI to know what the best learning systems out there are.
