I like to have the option to print, say, 4 or 6 of the same pics to one page. For some reason my lexmark all in one doesnt seems to have that option, or i cant get it to work. I tried a few programs, like picasa2, and no luck.
I had one such small program not long ago that worked great, but i cant remember the name of it. I sure wish i had that program as it had unlimited options in that area and worked great.

All i want is the option to print so many pics to one page.
And, of course, i want it to be a free program.

    And help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Have you tried perhaps "Adobe Photoshop Starter Edition"? You can download it free on major geeks. Go to the MG Home Page. On the column list of items on the far left side of the page, click on Graphics. You can then scroll down through the page to find all sorts of photo software, some are free & some are shareware which will cost something. You can find Adobe Photoshop there for free. You may have to just experiment with the various programs you find. Personally, I like Kodak Easyshare Photo Software, but you have to purchase it, as far as I know. I also like HP Image Zone, but I'm not sure if you can get it free or not, as it came on my computer already. Anyway, Good Luck & keep us posted on your progress! :)Shanrene

I always tell my users to try Windows' inbuilt print wizard, as it seems to have the most, easiest to use options for this type of job.

Simply right-click the picture(s) you want to print, select 'Print' and follow the wizard. This should give you the option of printing the picture as you desire.

    Thanks for your help.

Mada_Milty I forgot to mention i tried windows built in prog, but it doesnt work. It only prints one small pic when i order 4. I'm pretty sure that somehow its because of my lexmark printer. I have set the settings correctly in the windows prog and in preferences in my lexmarks printer preferences. All to no avail.

shanrene123, I installed roxio photosuite and it did the trick, so thanks for the advice, made me think that i had that similar prog. I have several other fairly large progs installed that do the job, and have done in the past, its just that they wont work with my lexmark P4350. This all in one printer has other flaws as well but i got a heck of a deal on it. Anyway, the Roxio prog gave me 4 real nice pics to put inside some christmas cards.

I'd really like to find that other prog, its a very small prog, it might even be a portable prog, just wish i could remember the name of it. I'm hoping someone reads this and knows the prog i am talking about. Cant find it in my archives, which means the word "print" is not in the programs name as i did a search for it with my search prog, agent ransack, and its infallible as far as i know.

Maybe someone here will know of the prog i am looking for!

    thank you

    Iomega photo printer
    go here
    Code:
    http://www.maxpatchink.com/free2.shtml
and scroll down until you see the above title. Clicking on the name, will give you a download box. After downloading it, run it thru your antivirus programs to be sure it is clean.
I used this program several years ago to place several pictures on 8 1/2 " x 11" sheets of paper so I wouldn't waste so much paper.

plodr, thanks for the help. I will try that prog out as i am going to move to win vista ultimate during the holidays and i can use that prog there.

Also, a question for shanrene123. You mentioned Kodak Easyshare Photo Software and i skimmed over that. It just dawned on me that one could use that software for the task i have in mind, no matter that it is used for a Kodak camera as that only means i cant connect my camera to that prog, but who cares as i can use other means, all i have to do is have the pic on my hard drive and use the Kodak prog, lol. That one flew right over my head.

    thanks for the info, everyone.
