Looking for download software

Howdy all!

As the title says I'm looking for a program or scripting software that I can use to download files from the internet. The thing is, I need it to be able to follow a links from other pages, not just download a static url.

Here's the situation. I work in IT and have a thumb drive I keep all my frequently used files on. These files include nvidia drivers, antivirus software, and lots of weird utilities. I would like to download the latest versions of these things automatically but a lot of these sites don't have static download links. You have to click through several pages to get to a dynamic download link for the latest version. Right now I use an autoIT script to go around and click the links, but there has to be a better way. So if anyone could suggest an existing program or even a better way to script or program this, I would me in your debt.
