..and I understand there are gamers that play against friends, but these are not what I'm looking for. My sister and I want to play some games like maybe Yahtzee type, or I was also think about software that might be out there so we could put a puzzle together??

I'm thinking of something we could both download, and then "just" play eachother. Nothing like pogo or the Facebook games where anyone can play. Plus I don't think those places allow a private game room. We already use Teamviewer, but I think that is just for meetings, or I use it to "remote control" on her pc to help her out on the easier things to fix.

Maybe the games I am thinking of have to be purchased, and then loaded onto both computers.

Does anyone know of any freeware to download? If there isn't anything, anyone want to get together and build it and make a bundle, LOL!! Denise

I just downloaded the 100% Hidden Objects Game. Just straight HOG game, and looks easy enough for this fellow here at the apartments that loves HOGs but he can't handle the ones I play like Dark Parables. So not only my sister and I will enjoy this, I think this will be a good one for him!! I think extraordinaire fits you well Major Geek Eldon;) denise

Thanks for that game site link, Eldon.

I usually wait until BigFish has a 65% off sale then I buy a game for $3.49.
I can try it first for an hour. I've tried a few that turned out to be too frustrating so I didn't buy.

Hey Plodr, I just got a HOG game at BF for 4.99,, but is seems very good, my speed:) It's called Play Whispered Secrets: Into the Wind. I like it because the story is good, and meaningful, the games are simple but not too, so intermediate maybe. The hidden objects have a few "special" hoops to jump through, but not above simple-intermediate;) Let me know what you think if you try it out. My all-time fave is the Philosophers Stone, the story line is almost non-existant, but it is so much fun to see all the different "worlds"/scenes as you travel through each portal;) Denise
