Looking for help with starting website

Hello all,

Not sure if this belongs in this forum category, but I am finally getting things around to start a website for my sports card collection and I was wondering if anyone coiuld point me towards any other "freewebs" type of sites. Thanks for any info.

Heh, if 20MB is not enough, you may want to check out http://www.250free.com/, which gives you 250MB.

 

I don’t know about free hosting, but Yahoo SiteBuilder is a good free WYSIWYG site builder. Unfortunately you can only use it with Yahoo hosting.

 

Another good WYSIWYG editor is Nvu, which is based on the Mozilla Composer. This is a nice free app you can use independent of your web host.

Of course, it always pays to be aware and able to code your site by hand! To this end, I recommend W3schools, which is a fantastic reference on all kinds of web programming. HTML, XML, VBScript, you name it, W3schools will give you a detail explanation of each tag, command, object, method or property. Some very sweet info there.

I initially thought to check the 250free site, due to the 250MB, but I'll check the others as well. The W3schools sounds very helpful as well.
